Uncoupled is the latest Netflix’s romantic comedy TV series created by Darren Star & Jeffrey Richman(who has also written the show) and directed by Andrew Fleming(known for directing Younger).

The series is executively produced by Jeffrey Richman, Darren Star, Lilly Burns, and Neil Patrick Harris under Jeffrey Richman Productions, MTV Entertainment Studios, Jax Media, and Darren Star Productions for the original network Netflix.

Where was Uncoupled filmed?

Uncoupled series is set originally in Manhattan but most of the filming took place inside New York City, New York. Only a couple of scenes were filmed in Manhattan, NY including the cross street of East 34th Street and famous Madison Avenue.

A production setup was created by MTV, Darren, and Jeffrey to film all the interior scenes. Only the outdoor scenes were shot at the real places. Principal filming began in July 2021 wrapped up in November 2021 within the New York City.

Synopsis

The LGBT series follows a gay man named Michael living a peaceful life in his mid-40s along with his partner celebrating 17 years of marriage. But one day, he wakes up in sudden shock to discover that his partner has left him without any notice.

Now, he has to confront the nightmares of losing the love of his life along with the desire to become mingle again.
