The show is an exploration inside the happy lives of The Duggars and a thorough investigation into the Institute in Basic Life Principles (IBLP). For those who don’t know, IBLP is a controversial fundamentalist organization and a homeschooling empire.
But why are we seeing that? Because the Duggar family is having a deep connnection with it. While most of the series focuses on Duggars, 19 Kids and Counting stars, it does give us insight into Basic Life Principles through the mouth of some brave survivors who managed to come out safely to reveal that it was like a nightmare.

Who are the Duggars?
The Duggars rose to fame with a 2008 reality TV show ’17 Kids and Counting’ which was later renamed as 19 Kids and Counting after the birth of two more babies in the family.
An interesting part about this big family is, all of their kids name start with letter ‘J’ and all of them got proper education at home without going to a regular school. They have strong religious beliefs and believe in strict rules of dressing.
The Duggar documentary is a good way to know the secrets of this beautiful family. Another popular reality show ‘Counting On’ started airing on TLC channel that focused on the new generation of the family.
