While Fans were waiting for John Wick Chapter 4, Lionsgate has announced another film Sisu movie that is confirmed to be a blockbuster like the Parabellum.
The military action film set in the last days of WWII and follows the story of a one-man death squad led by a gold prospector and Winter War veteran named Aatami Korpi who is on a mission to take down Nazis during the Lapland War.
With Jorma Tommila starring in the role of old Nazi hunter, the Lionsgate’s movie was first released on 9 Sep 2022 at Toronto International Film Fest.
Then, it was released for Finland citizens in Jan 2023 and now, the action film is set to release internationally on 28 April 2023.

Kjell Lagerroos is the cinematographer who have captured all the scenes, edited by Juho Virolainen, and the costumes are designed by Anna Vippunen.
The action period horror film is produced by Petri Jokiranta under Subzero Film Entertainment Production, Stage 6 Films, Good Chaos and Lionsgate with Otso Linnalaakso as production designer.
Sisu movie is one of the most awaited film of April 2023 and the only Finnish film to got 100% approval score on Rotten Tomatoes, 7.5 rating on IMDb, and mostly positive reviews.
Is Sisu on Netflix?
No, the film hasn’t released on Netflix yet but that doesn’t mean it can’t be released on the network.
We can expect the Nazi hunting movie to arrive on Netflix after it’s theatrical run because SONY Pictures have acquired the international distribution rights for the film.
