While fans were getting bored watching Don’t Worry Darling several times, Harry was secretly working on another gay romance, My Policeman that is now premiering inside the U.S. cinemas under the production of Amazon Studios.
Directed by Britsh director Michael Grandage from the screenplay of Ron Nyswaner, the movie is an adaptation of a 2012 novel of same name by Bethan Roberts.
The movie is about an unusual relationship of a 1950s policeman Tom who falls in love with an English-based teacher named Marion, and also initiates an affair with a museum curator Patrick who is troubled by his past. You can watch My Policeman now, it has started streaming.
Where was My Policeman filmed?
My Policeman was filmed inside two European countries, England and Italy. Capital FM reported that the principal filming began in April 2021 inside Brighton and Hove and wrapped up inside Venice on 16 June 2021.
Since most of the novel sets in England’s south coast in Brighton, the filmmakers choose the exact matching locations to make the film more lively. It is rarely seen that the shooting of a movie took place at the same place where it is set. So, this is really special.
You will find popular landmarks such as Palace Pier where Harry is seen playing games and the pebble beach where some romance happens between Tom and Marion. Then, comes the Royal Pavillion, it is an Indian style grand palace that was once the residence of King George IV.
Other noteworthy places of Brighton includes The Vine, Regency Square and Brunswick Square, The Dome Cinema, and Peacehaven Cliffs.

Hitchin Swimming Centre of Hertfordshire has been also featured in the gay drama film. You can recognize the pool if you are a resident. It is a 50-meter outdoor people which is open for all.
Some scenes show Styles and Dawson doing some romance together at beach and a romantic gondola ride on the canals, those scenes were filmed inside the beautiful city of Venice, Italy.
Director Grandage posted on their official instagram that the filming has wrapped on 16 June 2021. He shared a pic on Michael Grandge Company with Harry Styles and David Dawson.
While Italy is less known filming location (Unthinkably Good Things), England is a much popular shooting location for various period dramas The Peripheral, Jurassic World Dominion The Royals Season 5, Barry Lyndon, Curse of Bridge Hollow, etc.
