The Royals Season 5 is one of the most anticipated season of the American soap opera series created and written by Mark Schwahn for E! Channel.
Based on the 2011 novel Falling For Hamlet by Michelle Ray, the movie stars William Moseley, Alexandra Park, Elizabeth Hurley, and Tom Austen in the lead roles as the member of royal British family.
The series ran for four seasons which are produced by Annabelle Frost, Sam Breckman, and Nick O’Hagen under Varsity Pictures, Mastermind Laboratories, Lionsgate Television and Universal Cable Productions inside London, England.
Will there be a season 5 of The Royals?
Obviously, there will be no season 5 for The Royals because the the series was officially cancelled by E! in August 2018, five months after the release of fourth season.
Lionsgate Television was shopping the series to other networks and discussions were going on with Paramount’s Pop but Lionsgate didn’t get any success as no network showed interest in picking up the series.
After this news, the last ray of hope was also extinguished. The Royals Season 5 is not happening like Shameless Season 12 but at least, Shameless had a proper ending.
Elizabeth Hurley slams the producers for the loose ending
One of the show’s star who plays the role of Queen Helena expressed her thoughts on the unfinished season finale when asked by a fan on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.
She answered the question of fan by saying that we didn’t expect it to end. Everyone was thinking that there will be a fifth season but it was cancelled.
Probably, a lot of fans would be disappointed because we didn’t tie up loose ends and same goes with us, we were upset too for not being able to return for another season.

Other than these cast members, some other royals might be introduced in the new season like in Godfather of Harlem season 3 which is happening on HULU.

Season 4 Ending
After moving with an exceptional story for three seasons, season 4 has ended on a lame corner. No fan had expected that they will end up the series like this when we deserve better.
The story hasn’t finished yet and the threads are still hanging in the air. Fans are hopeful that those loose threads will be tied in the fifth and finale season but no network has yet shown any interest in picking up the series.
What will be the plot of The Royals Season 5?
How in the royal world does Queen Helena exist with another queen in the palace? What did Robert say to Willow to change her mind before the wedding?
Where did they take Kathryn? Who killed Jack? Where had Violet been? All those questions will be answered in the Royals season 5 but it doesn’t seem that a new season will ever come out on E!.
