Directed by an Malcolm D Lee, the Best Man Final Chapters is an American dramedy series whose story sets in a few years after The Best Man Holiday (2013 film).

The Best Man: The Final Chapters series was filmed inside New York, New Jersey, and Dominican Republic during mid 2022. Principal filming began on 14 March 2022 when Morris Chestnut posted on Instagram with the caption, ‘1st Day on the set with Malcolm’ and wrapped up on 8 July 2022 when the series creator MalcolmDLee shared that the filming has wrapped.
Most of the shooting took place in and around New York City especially inside Manhattan and Brooklyn. Director Lee can be seen taping some scenes around DUMBO, a short name for Down under the Manhattan Bridge Overpass and the cast was also spotted in York Street, Lower Manhattan.
After finishing the filming in New York, the team moved to Hudson Country, New Jersey and setup a production camp there to record some important scenes. Finally, the crew traveled to Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic where 40 percent of the shooting took place.
Santo Domingo is the capital and also the largest city of Dominican Republic which is popular for cultural epicenters, vibrant and diverse musical heritage. The Best Man team also covers a resort town named Punta Cana that is located in the eastern part of Dominican Republic.
