The two part documentary miniseries stars Steve Burns and Bob West who are focusing on children’s TV series titled Barney & Friends. This is the kind of series that we all have watched once in our childhood and learn some values from it but now, director Tommy Avallone is ready to expose some dark truths.
It was created and written by Sheryl Leach, Dennis DeShazer, and Kathy Parker and for PBS. The series began airing on 1992 and ran for around 14 seasons till 2010 on the original PBS network inside the United States and was well loved by American kids.

One of the Barney performer named Bob West who stepped into costume for the purple dinosaur shared that he often received death threats from the public. They were violent and were going to kill me if find me, the performer said in trailer.
Who’s in the cast of Barney docuseries?
The original network hasn’t yet revealed the full cast details but a few big names are confirmed to play their part as weatherman Al Roker, America’s favorite scientist Bill Nye. Other than that, two renowned Barney portrayers namely David Joyner and Bob West will be seen as the voice behind Barney the purple dinosaur.
Is Barney documentary 2022 on Netflix?
Unfortunately, the docuseries is not available for streaming on Netflix right now and is not expected to release on Netflix in the near future because the miniseries is a Peacock original and that’s why it is exclusively streaming on NBC’s streaming service Peacock inside the United States.
