Where was Christmas with a Kiss filmed?
The mahogany Hallmark movie Christmas with a Kiss was filmed in Oakville and Milton inside the Canadian province of Ontario.
Filming took place in early October 2023 across Greater Toronto Area and wrapped later in the same month, after 3 weeks of filming.
The location was transformed into a winter wonderland. Many hometown residents had the opportunity to catch a glimpse of the movie magic firsthand.
Downtown Milton, Ontario
The heart of filming took place right in the middle of downtown Milton along Main Street. From October 4th to the 13th, the section spanning from James Street to Martin Street remained closed off to vehicles to accommodate the filming crew.
Production team worked meticulously to decorate the street with twinkling lights, picturesque storefronts brimming with wreaths and ribbons, and set pieces tailored for various carnival scenes.
Jaime thanked Hallmark for fulfilling his dream of shooting a film in Toronto. Here’s what the actor wrote on Instagram:
I can’t tell you how special this one is for me. Ever since I started acting, it was my dream to shoot a movie/show in Toronto. To be able to work AND see my family and friends I grew up with but see so infrequently, was one of my biggest goals.
These downtown Milton locales can be spotted in scenes where characters are enjoying hot chocolate, ice skating, shopping for handicrafts, and taking spins on the festive carnival rides.
The bright facades with holiday trimmings help establish the wholesome, small-town setting that defines Hallmark’s brand.
Oakville, Ontario
The town’s history dates back to the early 19th century when it was founded as a Methodist settlement. Its quaint shops, cozy cafes, and snow-covered streets provide a perfect setting for romantic encounters and heartwarming moments.

Oakville’s stately homes and tree-lined streets add an air of elegance and sophistication to this holiday film. These scenes often depict characters strolling through the neighborhood, admiring the festive displays and enjoying the company of loved ones.
Mishael Morgan shared another bts reel on Instagram, just before the permiere of Christmas with a Kiss.
Knox Presbyterian Church Area was Converted into Christmas Market
The compact parking lot between Knox Presbyterian Church and Chudleigh Blossom Café was decked up by the crew as the Main Street Christmas Carnival, complete with twinkling lights, festive decorations, artificial snow, and quaint wooden stalls.
This carnival set can be spotted in numerous sequences as the characters bond and clash while enjoying the carnival. In particular, scenes showcasing the Christmas festival and marketplace were filmed around the church and café.
Armogan dumped some behind the scenes on her Instagram coveirng every cast and crew member from makeup artist to ice cream seller.
The cast and crew made sure to capture the perfect winter settings by adding props like an ice skating rink, merry-go-round horses, and fake falling snow.
