The Ultimatum Queer Love is the latest reality dating series of Netflix that follows couples of women and non-binary people who are given eight weeks to chose their life partners.
Netflix is known for bringing us the best dating shows whether it’s How to build a sex room, Love is Blind, Too Hot to Handle, Perfect Match, Married at First Sight, or Love Island, the streaming giant is having a lot of dating and romance reality TV series.
Moreover, this show is a sequel to the series ‘The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On’ that premiered in April 2022 on Netflix. While the first season was about straight couples, this season is focusing on queers.
The Ultimatum Queer Love Filming Locations
Netflix’s The Ultimatum Queer Love series was filmed in San Diego, California, United States. Principal filming began in September 2021 and wrapped around November 2021.
San Diego’s warm weather hotspot offers a fun atmosphere to young couples with its attractive beaches and luxurious resorts where everybody wants to stay.
The city was chosen for the shooting because most of the couple belongs to California and if a different location was chosen then it felt like traveling to center of Earth for the cast, Chlesea and Kwame revealed in a recent conversation at the reunion.
Some spots that any resident can recognize in The Ultimatum Queer Love series are SHAKE & MUDDLE at 303 H Street UNIT 109 in Chula Vista city, Barrel & Board at 1027 University Avenue, Pacific Beach, The Yasai, La Jolla Cove, and Coronado Beach in San Diego.
The Yasai is a plant-based Japanese restaurant and according to their official website, they provide vegan cuisine. While meat seems to be an important gredient in American families, renowned chef Junya Watanabe has reshaped the future of veganism with her special recipes.
There is a world-famous tourist attraction, the San Diego Zoo that covers over 100 acres of land and is a home to a diverse range of species. You can encounter with live animals in that zoo.
Beyond the beaches and zoo, San Diego presents a wide range of attractions for tourists like Balboa Park, historic Gaslamp Quarter in downtown, the vibrant neighborhood provides a mix of Victorian-era architecture, lively bars and nightclubs.
