The White Lotus season 2 has finally started airing on 30 October 2022. Even though, The White Lotus was intended as a limited six part series but considering the higher ratings and fans love, HBO ordered another season for the series.
This American comedy drama television series is created, directed, and written by Mike White. First season premiered in 2021 was awarded with ten awards in the limited series categories and also become the most-awarded series at the 74th Primetime Emmy Awards.

Where was The White Lotus Season 2 filmed?
Season 2 of The White Lotus was filmed at Four Seasons San Domenica Palace in Taormina, Messina, Sicily, Italy inside south-western Europe. Principal photography began on 28 Feb 2022 inside Sicily and wrapped up on 21 September 2022, according to a report from Deadline.
Variety reported on 20 Jan 2022 that the highly anticipated Mike White’s The White Lotus season 2 is set in Sicily, the capital city of Italy.
One of the crew member informed that the team is utilizing a four seasons Hotel once again in place of the luxury chain of White Lotus Hotels, that hotel was San Domenico Palace that is located in Taormina.
Taormina is a municipality in the metropolitan city of Messina which is quite famous for tourism. It has Greek roman theatre. medieval streets, and mediterranean atmosphere. The town is also knonwn for the Teatro Antico di Taormina.
The team begin the production on 28 February 2022 of The White Lotus season 2 inside the San Domenico Palace that is full of luxury stuff and expensive things. It has refined rooms, flat-screens, private pools, and 24×7 room service.
First season of white Lotus was filmed in Maui and Hawaiian resort but this time a European location was utilized for filming purposes. An Italian luxury hotel was used as the filming location where most of the filming of the show took place.
The filming wraps in summer 2022 in the luxury resort and after that, the production team moved to Lumina to finish some remaining scenes and eventually wrapped up on 21 September 2022. The team utilize the four sound stages offered by Lumina and Cinecitta Studio.
