The new Hallmark holiday movie ‘Miracle in Bethlehem PA’ takes us to a small town of Pennsylvania through its filming locations.
Directed by Jeff Beesley from a script of Laura Kampo Lennon, the faith based film is about an independent woman named Mary Ann, who decides to raise a baby girl on her own, just before Christmas.
She and her baby stuck in a small town of Bethlehem due to bad weather conditions, and find a shelter at the Bethlehem Star Inn, where a handsome inn keeper is waiting for her.
The movie is from Dayspring (known for Christianity based films) and is produced by Ian Dimerman with Kimberly Daugherty, Julie Isgona, and Seth Jarett as executive producers.

Though set in the small town of Bethlehem PA, principal filming for ‘Miracle in Bethlehem PA’ took place in Winnipeg, the capital and largest city of Manitoba province in Canada during spring 2023.
Winnipeg, Manitoba
With its snowy winters, historic buildings, and thriving film industry, Winnipeg has become a go-to destination for holiday movies and TV productions. Vandervoort posted on Instagram after completing the shoot of Miracle in Bethlehem PA movie.
Filming occurred from September 26th to October 17th, 2023, as per Casting Workbook. Benjamin Ayres, the lead actor of the film shared a couple of pics after the shooting wrapped.
The production team had to work efficiently to shoot the film before Winnipeg’s famous bitter cold and heavy snows set in. Luckily, they wrapped principal photography just in time!
Winnipeg Exchange District
Remember the adorable Main Street in the movie, lined with quaint shops and twinkling lights? That festive magic was captured in a farmhouse of Winnipeg Exchange District, a vibrant neighborhood in Winnipeg.
Winnipeg’s stellar filming infrastructure, experienced crews, and financial incentives also make it very production friendly. Laura Vandervoort shared a behind the scene video with Ayres as the cameraman. (Cute!)
In addition to outstanding filming opportunities, Winnipeg offers plenty to see and do while visiting. Attractions like the Journey to Churchill exhibit at the Assiniboine Park Zoo and the Canadian Museum for Human Rights draw visitors from around the world.

No worries, right? Wrong! Turns out every single hotel is booked solid. Luckily, the innkeeper’s brother, Joe, steps in. Now, Joe’s a bit of a bachelor with a messy house that looks like a hamster’s playground. But hey, he has a spare room and a kind heart!
So, Mary Ann and her baby girl move in with Joe for the holidays. While Mary Ann learns the magic of community and Christmas cheer from Joe’s warm family, Joe starts cleaning up his act and getting inspired by Mary Ann’s strength.
