Many royal serial fans are looking for The Crown Season 5 release date but an official launch date is yet to be confirmed by the streaming network. The royal drama was first released in November 2016, second in 2017, third season in 2019, and the latest season 4 in 2019. Created by Peter Morgan, The Crown is the series that tells about the reign of Queen Elizabeth II, how she married to Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh in 1947 and other events that happened in the lifetime of Queen. The 4th season was about showing the wedding of Princess Diana with Prince Charles. Season 5 will continue the story after that.
The Crown Season 5 Release Date
The Crown season 5 is anticipated to be release around November 2022 on Netflix with a total of 10 episodes like the previous 4 seasons. Some historical events that are likely to featured in the 5th season of The Crown are the death of Princess Diana, Prince Andrew’s divorce , and Tony Blair becoming the PM.
Filming was planned to begin in June 2021 but Left Bank Pictures take a break in between the filming because the main cast replaced for the last time. Then, filming began in July 2021. To your surprise, The Crown has also been renewed for a sixth and finale season. Filming for season 6 will begin in 2022.

The 5th and 6th season will cover the rule and wedding of Queen Elizabeth II in 1947 through the early 21st century. It will witness the events that took place in 1990s, that means we get to see the most horrible year(as The Night House) in the life of Queen in 1992. This will also show the separation of Prince Charles and Princess Diana. In 1997, Diana died in a car accident in Paris with boyfriend. Her bodyguard was the only survivor as per DigitalSpy. There is no official trailer available for the 5th season so it’s hard to predict exactly what’s gonna happen next. But as per historical events, we can speculate many things that take us to the correct information.
