Slow Horses season 3 is an upcoming part of an English spy thriller series directed by James Hawes and Jeremy Lovering for the Apple TV+.
Based on the novel sequence of the same name, the police procedural crime series follows a team of British intelligence who are dumped by the agency due to their screwed up performances.
It is rarely seen that fans praise a book adaptation more than the book itself and Slow Horses is that hidden gem. The creators have done a good job and their work should be appreciated.

Yes, there will be a season 3 of Slow Horses because Slow Horses has been renewed for a third season. It happened even before the premiere of a second season on 2 Dec 2022.
Apple TV+ made the official renewal announcement on 1 June 2022 that the series has been renewed through fourth season. It will stretch the story up to the fourth book of the novel series written by Mick Herron that are Real Tigers & Spook Street.
When is Slow Horses season 3 coming out?
Season 1 was ordered by Apple TV+ in Oct 2019 with Gary Oldman in the lead role. Filming for the first season began in Nov 2020 and wrapped in July 2021 inside London, UK and was released in April 2022.
The second season was filmed along with season 1 but it premiered seven months after the premiere of second season. Following the same pattern, season 3 and 4 will probably filmed back to back but the question is, when will the season come out?
The short answer is, We don’t know yet because no release date has been provided by the AppleTV. But we can expect the third season to be released around August 2023. It will also have a total of six episodes like the previous seasons.

The first familiar face is going to be Gary Oldman who will return for his role of Jackson Lamb, the actor has said that he will keep making the show as long as they want him. Some new faces introduced in the second season like Kadiff Kirwan (Marcus Longridge) & Aimée-Ffion Edwards (Shirley Dander) will also seen in the upcoming season.

What will happen in Slow Horses season 3?
The series is an adaptation of Mick Herron’s series of novel in the best possible way. We have already seen in the two seasons that the story is pretty close to the source and if same theme will be followed then we will see the kidnap of Catherine by a group of rebels who are against the Royal security agency.
