Episode 9 of My Dress Up Darling begins with Kitagawa and Gojo bringing materials for Black Lobelia outfit. Kitagawa shows off her swimsuit under the clothes to get an opinion of Gojo but the embarrassed man puts away his face without uttering a word. Moreover, Marin teases him by asking why he didn’t reply while she sent her swimsuit photo.
After that, Gojo presents his completed outfits for Inui and Kitagawa impressing them and allowing them to perform a group cosplay. To their surprise, Shinju stuns them with a male cosplay and a flashback scene shows the whole story behind it.
When Gojo and Shinju first went to the hospital, Gojo asked her if she wants to do a cosplay as she was reluctant in their first meeting at the restaurant. Shinju looked shy at first but she eventually confirmed that she wants to do a male cosplay. However, her figure doesn’t allow to perform that. Gojo managed to cover Shinju’s large breasts with a B-holder and transformed into her favorite male character.
