Yuri on Ice season 2 isn’t yet released on Netflix but fans become zealous after a short clip went viral on the internet featuring a Russian Yuri showing off his skating skills while performing a new routine. The highly anticipated BL anime series has become one of the most loved Japanese anime for its male figure and homosexual characters portrayal. Produced by MAPPA, the sports anime series is directed and written by Sayo Yamamoto along with Jun Shishido and Mitsuro Kubo as co-director and co-writer. The anime is licensed by Crunchyroll and Funimation but the series is also streaming on Netflix.

Yuri On Ice Season 2 Release Date and Time

Yuri On Ice season 2 is not yet announced by MAPPA but a new movie titled ICE ADOLESCENCE is in post production. The official announcement was made in 2017 by the original twitter profile of the show and on 26 November 2020, a new trailer was released by Avex Pictures confirming that the series is about to release.

Yuri on Ice movie ICE ADOLESCENCE is set to release on 29 November 2022(Yuri’s bday) or on 25 Dec(Victor’s bday) as per our reports. The movie is directed and written by Sayo Yamamoto, music given by Taro Umebayashi, Taku Matsushiba and the production is done under MAPPA Studios once again.

At the Yuri!!! on stage event on 29 April 2017, it was announced that an original movie was in production. In 2018, a banner was released and movie title was revealed. Moreover, a short teaser was also released in 2018 on the movie’s official website with the caption that the movie release has been pushed back. Then, on 26 November 2020, another trailer was released from the show’s and Avex Pictures twitter profile but no new season of the sports sad anime TV series was announced.

What will happen in Yuri on Ice season 2?

Season 2 of Yuri on Ice will keep the two best skaters on their toes since the world championship is approaching and there can only be one winner either Yuri or Victor. Some complications will be seen in the relationship of two lovers in the romance romance anime but the two will get over it within a few weeks or days or even hours. Their relationship is remarkable and incomparable. Nobody can separate Yuri and Victor except themselves and they will never let this happen. Their love will only multiply with a new dispute.

What to expect from Yuri On Ice The Movie Ice Adolescence?

Since, the movie is having adolescence in the title, we can expect to see lots of younger characters including Katsuki and Nikiforov in their young stages when the two characters were like complete strangers to each other. Even though, MAPPA hasn’t indicated that the albeit haired guy featured in the trailer is Yuri, we can still confirm that he is somehow related to him.

There is no coincidence that he is seen practicing at the same place where Yuri used to be. Moreover, several other characters will be introduced that you haven’t imagined before. It will be great to explore the younger versions of everyone. The best part will be the rise of Yuri and Victor’s growing relationship. What was the spark that ignites the heart of two boys?
