High School DxD season 5 is one of the most-awaited anime season after One Punch Man 3. The harem anime series is the adaptation of the light novels written by Ichiei Ishibumi and illustrated by Miyama-Zero whose story moves around the struggles among the devils and fallen angels. Issei Hyodo is a high-school boy who falls in love with Yumma and got killed on his first date but revived by a female devil Rias Gremory who later makes Issei her servant. What is the release date for High school DxD Season 5?

High School DxD Season 5 is not officially confirmed by the original series creators yet but it’s in the progress according to the light novel author Ichiei Ishibumi as per some unofficial reports. It will be released around July 2022 on AT-X inside Japan and Funimation inside the United States. This season will be having a total of 12 episodes with a running time of 22 minutes. Season 5 of High School DxD was originally set to release in November 2020 but due to coronavirus pandemic, it had been delayed to 2022.

The anime adaptation first premiered in 2012 and gained a lot of popularity pushing the animators to make a 2nd, 3rd, and a 4th season that released in 2013, 2015, and 2018. It’s been 3 years after the last season launched and that’s why our excitement is multiplying daily. The first 3 seasons were published under TNK animation studios but in the 4th season the anime studio swapped with Passione making most of the people worrying that they even encourage people to sign the petition to bring old style back.

There is a lot of manga material left for adaptation. Only 10 volumes are adapted out of 25 available volumes including short story collections and spinoffs.

High School DxD Season 5 might adapt 11th and 12th volume of the original light novel series as the 10 volumes were completed since season 4 released. The new season will start with middle class promotion test that will pair with the ranking used to denote the ability of a devil. Passing this test will hardly makes any difference for Issei, even if he got good marks, he should still put just above the low class. On the other hand, Koneko has come to know that Issei and Rias are coming more closer. She is worrying about it and acting stressfully, Issei needs to find a way to calm down her insecurities.

However, this is just our expectations and we can only predict things when there is no official synopsis or trailer available for the new season of this anime. Mushoku Tensei Season 3 is also confirmed and the day is nearing when we get to see Rias Gremory reuniting with the protagonist for the next episodes. The erotic simulation of high school girls will continue to grow and each girl will try to make physical contacts with Issei. Probably, he will become the professor of school who will be assigned to teach the girls and guide for future.

Whatever happens in the series, the hot anime girls make the show worth-watching and seducing, the beautiful girls like Rias Gremory and the perverted Issei are the reason why most of the harem anime fans binge the series.
