A huge update is coming regarding the release date of Chainsaw Man Anime. You will rejoice and start dancing on the table on hearing the official announcement. The announcement has been made by Crunchyroll regarding the release of the episode 1 of the anime series. Crunchyroll, the anime-streaming company has successfully secured the streaming rights for the highly-anticipated anime.
The anime TV series is adapted from Chainsaw Man manga series, written and illustrated by Tatsuki Fujimoto under Viz Media and Weekly Shonen Jump magazine. MAPPA(known for Jujutsu Kaisen, AoT) is the animation studio assigned to animate the series, Ryu Nakayama and Makoto Nakazono are assigned as the director while the scripts are written by Hiroshi Seko.
What month will Chainsaw Man anime come out?
Chainsaw Man Anime will come out on 11 October 2022 at 12 PM ET exclusively for Crunchyroll subscribers inside the United States. All the episodes will be simulcast on Crunchyroll in original Japanese audio and English subtitles.
Timings will be different for distinct regions as:
- Pacific Time: 8:00 AM (October 11)
- Central Time: 10:00 AM (October 11)
- Eastern Time: 11:00 AM (October 11)
- British Time: 4:00 PM (October 11)
- Indian Time: 8:30 PM (October 11)
- Australian Time: 1:00 AM (October 12)
Currently, there are no plans to release English dubbed episodes but we will be able to see dub episodes soon after the anime begins airing. The character designing is done by Kazutaka Sugiyama while the energetic music is given by Kensuke Ushio.
Crunchyroll Made the Announcement
Asa Suehira(the chief content officer of Sony owned Crunchyroll) said in his statement that Chainsaw Man is one of the most demanded new series of 2022 and we are excited to bring it to fans on our service. Anime fans will be up all night thinking about the powerful and spectacular visuals along with high-voltage action that will keep them stick on their place.
The anime studio has various projects ongoing
MAPPA Studio is chosen as the original production house due to its immensely popular history and clear visual animation that meets fan expectations. The studio has already produced two masterpiece Jujutsu Kaisen and Attack on Titan. Moreover, the second season of Jujutsu Kaisen and the final arc of AoT is also under production in the same studio.
However, the studio is somehow infamous for poor working conditions for its workers and staff members who has to work all day everyday without any holiday. This is the reason why Jujutsu Kaisen director left MAPPA studio to work on his own. Many of the greybeards of anime industry shares their views on the issue and proves that the studio doesn’t provide proper treatment to its workers.

Then, a scene is shown where Denki is playing with other Public Safety Devil Hunters, Kobeni Higashiyama and Power. Aki and Meowy are also shown along with Denki trying to make a relationship with Kobeni. Will Denji been able to take his relationship on the next level or get himself killed?
About Chainsaw Man
The award-winning manga story follows a teenage devil hunter, Denji who makes a contract with his pet devil, Pochita to resurrect himself from the dead. His father left behind a huge pile of debt after his death and Denji is living a low key life while repaying his debt by harvesting devil corpses with his dog Pochita. While hunting a devil corpse, he is betrayed and killed. That day, he decides to make a contract with Pochita and revived himself as a man with devil’s heart. With dark humor, the series progresses with a sharp story including dynamic and charismatic characters.
