Boruto Episode 249 is set to release this Sunday on 15 May 2022 at its scheduled time on Crunchyroll and TV Tokyo. The anime TV series has been directed by Masayuki Koda(since Ep #105) and is animated by Studio Pierrot.

The character designing is done by Tetsuya Nishio and Hirofumi Suzuki while the music is composed by Yasuharu Takanashi and his musical unit Yaiba. Boruto: Naruto Next Generations is based on the Japanese shonen manga series of the same name written by Ukyo Kodachi and Masashi Kishimoto while the illustrations for Shueisha are done by Mikio Ikemoto.

Boruto Episode 249 titled ‘Burgeoning Hatred‘ is set to release on Sunday, 15 May 2022 at 05:00 AM ET on Crunchyroll and at 5:30 PM JST on TV Tokyo inside Japan. The anime series is licensed by Madman Entertainment(Australasia), Manga Entertainment(British Isles), and Viz Media(Northern America). New episodes are also available on Apple TV with English subtitles. The show is exclusively streaming on Netflix inside Japan only. Currently, less than half of the episodes are dubbed in English and all of them are streaming on VUDU and Hulu inside US.

Episode 248 Recap

Boruto Episode 248 begins with Mitsuki informing the group about Iwabe and Denki’s capture. Now, the team is prepared to fight another fierce battle against Funamushi. Kawaki and Boruto declares to avenge Kagura’s death by themselves while the others prepare to fight Funato. Funamshi is vulnerable to Lightning style, Boruto learned the fact while cladding his body in thick water armor.

Hebiichigo immobilize Funamushi to ease on the process of execution but the later escapes with a rage causing heavy damage to Hebiichigo. However, Boruto still manages to knock him with his special rasengan. Funamushi then tries to attack on Boruto but sudden arrival of Buntan impales him.

The remaining soldiers of Funamushi run off on seeing their leader dead. But the celebration doesn’t last long as Hebiichigo injuries prove to be fatal that eventually lead to her death. Before passing away, she thanks Metal for believing in him and the team 7 buried him next to Kagura.

Boruto Episode 249 Summary

The official preview for episode 249 shows Boruto thinking that even though they have defeated Funamushi, Araumi is still alive. He vows to stand up strongly and lead the squad to avenge the death of their clan members. The squad from the Land of Mist will return stronger and take out the Funato clan.
