In Boruto: Naruto Next Generations episode 247, we saw Team Denki was looking for some food after Funato destroyed their reserves. This boils Boruto and Kawaki suggests that they should involve themselves in fight but Sarada resists the plan to leave village helpless. Meanwhile, Isari reports to Araumi that Tenma is dead. Araumi takes the command and blames her for Tenma and Seiren’s conditions.

The shinobis give their food to children instead of eating by themselves so that the initiative of Hebiichigo doesn’t ever fade away. Moreover, they aren’t feeling appetite since the death of Kagura. Metal reveals to Hebiichigo that he already knew she was kind. Onto which Hebiichigo replies that she feed the kids as they reminds her of her childhood. Moreover, she also revealed how she was praised for accidentally killing a rogue shinobi, she is only famous for her assassination like Miyuki and Tatsuya in The Irregular at Magic High School Season 3.

Sarada was right, they shouldn’t leave the village defenseless. A fierce battle will begun between Funamashi and Team 7 in Boruto Episode 248 as title suggests.
