A Maple Valley Christmas is the latest romantic comedy film by Hallmark and the third movie in Miracles of Christmas programming event. The movie is coming after We Need a Little Christmas and Christmas Bedtime Stories only on Hallmark Movies and Mysteries Channel.
It is directed by Paul Ziller from the screenplay of Joie Botkin, and the story is based on the eponymous novel of the same name by Jerry Todt. Graem Luis is serving as producer while Stan Spry and Anthony Fankhauser are acting as executive producers under Maple Valley Pictures Inc.
The movie stars Peyton List in the lead role of Erica who buys back half of the farm that her mother decides to sell and meets another businessman Aaron who puts a counter offer to make use of the land for his own business.

A Maple Valley Christmas was filmed in the most prestigious district of Vancouver, Brtish Columbia, Canada. The filming began in the second week of July in Vancouver and wrapped up in on 27 July at the Ladner Village, Delta.
Since Erica is a rancher who has grown up watching farms, the location of Ladner Village Market seems to be a good choice for cinematographer Dan Dumouchel as the place offers a wide variety of wetlands and farmlan. All the scenes that involve Erica’s home were filmed inside the Ladner Village.
It is located in Metro Vancouver and is known for its Main Street USA feel, good fishing settings, and ocean beaches. The production staff covered everything with snow and christmas decorations at the time of filming including storefronts and path.
The Vancouver district is well known shooting location among Hallmark filmmakers and even the famous Ryan Reynolds’s movie The Adam Project was also filmed in Ladner Village. Canadian provinces are popular because directors and cinematographers love the working environment and the residents who always co-operate with the production staff along with the cast members.
