In the second episode of anime 86 season 2, Shin and his friends were adapted to live in Federacy and even find it a better place to live rather than the Republic. They are treated equally and same rights has been offered to them as countrymen without any discrimination but their gut feeling(they don’t belong here) always comes under their feet and pull their leg behind.
Eventually, Shin and his friends decide to return to the battlefield but Ernst insists to stay at their place. Anyhow, Shin convinced him but he bring a special condition that needs to be accepted, Ernst happily welcomed the Shin’s proposal and allow them to enroll in Special Officer’s Training School to become an officer. Fredrica also reveals her true identity as the last empress of Giad in the ending scene and asks Shin to save her Knight who turned into a Legion.
