As per IMDb reports, BCE Place, Hart House, and the University of Toronto-St. George campus were utilized for filming purposes.

Brampton, Ontario, Canada

Brampton was another Canadian city, that served as the shooting location for Tommy Boy movie. It is a part of Greater Toronto Area, located in the Peel region, and is known for its large greenhouse industry. Once upon a time, the city was also known as The Flower Town of Canada.

The scene where Tommy Boy is driving under an overpass singing to “Come on Eileen” was filmed at 2299 E Imperial Highway in Los Angeles.

After that there’s a scene where Tommy is driving down bridge over Oxnard Blvd after the song, that scene was filmed at E Channel Islands Blvd Oxnard.

What is the plot?

After barely graduating college, Tommy Callahan Jr. returns home to a surprise: his dad’s getting married and wants him to take a big role in the family auto parts business. But tragedy strikes when his dad suddenly dies, leaving the company on the brink of collapse.

To save it, Tommy joins forces with his dad’s uptight assistant Richard on a wild sales trip, facing off against ruthless competitors and their own mismatched personalities all in a hilarious fight to keep his dad’s dream alive.
