What is the plot?
The movie Blind Date Book Club follows the story of Meg Tompkins, a bookstore owner torn between taking over her late mother’s shop and pursuing another career. Meg starts a successful club named “blind date book club” where readers pick mysteriously wrapped books to discuss.
When the famous author Graham Sterling hears about Meg’s club, he seeks her out to have his new novel included in the bunch of mysterious novels. As Meg and Graham spend time together through the book club, they begin to develop feelings for one another.
Through their interactions, Meg and Graham each discover their own paths to happiness – Meg in potentially taking over the bookstore, and Graham in finding inspiration for his writing. But will their budding romance survive the uncertainties they face?
