The Super Mario Bros. Movie has received an official release date on Peacock, after a successful theatrical run, the movie has become the highest grossing animated film of 2023.
For the first four months, the movie will stream on Peacock and then, it will move to Netflix for the next ten months. Then, it will be released on Peacock for the remaining four months.
Peacock subscribers are in luck, as they will be able to see the movie as well as behind-the-scenes interviews with the cast.
Moreover, the network will present a lyric video for a song performed by Anya Taylor-Joy from the voice of Princess Peach in the Super Mario Bros movie.
As per Universal’s disclosure to the NY Times, the film has generated $75 Million in premium VOD earnings till June 2023 with no fall in ticket sales.
The Super Mario movie has emerged as the highest- grossing video game adaptation of all time, biggest worldwide opening weekend for an animated film, and the third highest grossing animated film in history by grossing $1.351 Billion on box office.

What is Super Mario Bros movie about?
Super Mario is based on the world-famous Nintendo game Super Mario developed by Shigeru Miyamoto and follows the story of two twin brothers and Brooklyn plumbers: Mario (portrayed by Chris Pratt), a daredevil who is ready for new adventures and Luigi (played by Charlie Day), an anxious person who avoids unnecessary adventures.
