Ted Lasso Season 1 Preview
In the first season of Ted Lasso, American college football coach Ted Lasso (Sudeikis) is hired to coach the fictional UK Premier League football team, A.F.C. Richmond. Although Ted is inexperienced in coaching soccer, his kind and upbeat personality help him improve the team both on and off the field.
However, a surprising loss to Manchester City knocks A.F.C. Richmond out of their division, and Ted offers his resignation to Rebecca Welton (Hannah Waddingham), the team’s owner. Rebecca begins to respect Ted throughout the season, and she refuses to accept his resignation letter.

At the start of Season 2 of the show “Ted Lasso” the characters are struggling with some personal issues. A new character, Dr. Sharon Fieldstone, is introduced as a sports psychologist who helps the team process the events of the previous season and their personal struggles.
Over the course of the season, the friendship between Keeley and Rebecca grows stronger, and a romance blossoms between Rebecca and Sam Obisanya. In the final episode of the season, the team is promoted back up to the Premier League.
