Hallmark’s 2024 New Year New Movies programming event has begun with Love on the Right Course, and guess what?
This new Hallmark original movie boasts a cast of charming actors who bring their A-Game to the green, making us fall in love on and off the fairway.
Love on the Right Course has been directed by Stefan Scaini from the scripts of Brittany Bristow and Dustin Keating, a talented team of producers has further enhanced the film’s appeal.
While Agnes Bristow, Borga Dorter, Jonathan Halperyn, Vandad Kashefi, and Daniel Kresmery have a major influence on the overall direction of the film, Brittany Bristow, Leif Bristow, and Michael A. McLaughlin have contributed with their experience as executive producers of the project.
The film is produced by LORTC Productions in association with Love Cubed KFT, and the distribution is done by Hallmark Channel inside USA.

Marcus Rosner as Daniel Balazs
Originally from the west coast of British Columbia, Marcus Rosner spent his early years just outside Edmonton in the small town of Sherwood Park, Alberta.
As an active youth, Rosner played sports constantly but never took any drama classes. After high school, a pivotal trip with his mother to see Broadway shows in New York City sparked an interest in acting.
Rosner then moved to Vancouver to attend the Vancouver Film School, kickstarting his acting career in film and television.
Since then, Rosner has built an impressive resume with roles on shows like Syfy’s “Continuum”, The CW’s “Arrow” and “Supernatural”, ABC’s “Mistresses”, and recurring roles on ABC’s “Once Upon a Time”, Hallmark’s “When Calls The Heart,” Bravo’s “Girlfriends Guide to Divorce,” and Lifetime’s “UnREAL.”
He also played a supporting role in the Buzzfeed/Lionsgate film “My Fake Boyfriend” alongside high-profile actors.
Today, Rosner is a regular leading man on Hallmark Channel movies. You’ve seen him recently in Notes of Autumn, Team Bride, Finding Mr Right, Romance to the Rescue, Christmas in Maple Hills, An Ice Palace Romance, and The Love Club.
Ashley Newbrough as Whitney Jones-Bela
Ashley Newbrough is a talented actress hailing from Toronto, Canada who has made her mark in both television and film. She first rose to prominence with her starring role as Sage Baker on The CW’s dramedy series Privileged.
Since then, Newbrough has undertaken a variety of compelling roles across mediums. On the television front, she has held recurring roles on acclaimed shows like the award-winning comedy Rent a Goalie and the drama 1-800 Missing.
Film projects have included lead roles in several productions by Jack Nasser such as the Valentine’s Day Competition, Flowers and Honey and Blue Moon Ball.
More recently, Newbrough has become a staple on channels like Lifetime and Hallmark with lead roles in TV movies like Christmas Love Letter, Love Under the Stars, Small Town Christmas and Love in Glacier National Park: A National Park Romance.
With her girl-next-door charm and undeniable acting chops, Newbrough has carved out a space as one of Hallmark Channel’s brightest talents.
