Dug Days is a spinoff series of 2009 ‘Up’ movie and that’s why Up movie fans are calling it as Up 2. It has been written and directed by Emmy award winning director Bob Peterson. The story of Up film was also co-written by Bob Peterson that was about an elderly widower named Carl who tied thousands of balloons to his house to see the woods of South American to fulfil his dream for his late wife. However, the story of Dug Days is about a dog named Dug that gonna take you on an adventure ride and make your stomach ache with massive laughter.

The TV series will take you to the events that took place after 2009 Up film. It follows the story of a golden retriever Dug and grandpa Carl who resides in Suburbia after completing his dream. Bob Peterson has given his voice for Dug and Edward Asner as Carl. Russell and Squirrel voice actors are to be announced. Dug looks innocent and cute while chasing squirrels and adhering the garden rules without any fear when. Russell finds Dug’s charm quite interesting and play with him to destroy his neighbor garden in seconds. Their fun creates problem for others but Carl somehow manages to save his canine friend.

Fun Fact: You will be amazed to know that this is only the third TV series based upon a Pixar movie after Buzz Lightyear of Star Command and Monsters at Work. All other movies were made with the help of Disney Television Animation but this is the first one in which Pixar is having a bigger and upper hand.
