Love in The Maldives is the newest Hallmark romance movie directed by directed by Colin Theys from the screenplay written by Juliana Wimbles.
The movie is produced by David Boyles and Garrett VanDusen under Johnson Production Group while the cinematography is done by Branden James Maxham.
Timothy O Johnson and Joseph Wilka are the executive producers for the movie that is set to premiere on 1 April 2023 at 8/7c on on Hallmark Channel and Peacock.

Love in the Maldives Hallmark movie was filmed in Maldives with The Conrad Maldives, Rangali Island, Alifu Dhaalu Atoll as the primary shooting location. Other important filming locations include Maafushi, Gulhi, Fulidoo, and the Vaavu Atoll shipwreck site.
According to several sources, Hallmark cast and crew spent several weeks at the resort during the filming and enjoyed the luxury amenities of the Rangali Island. Jocelyn shared her excitement with an Instagram story with her fellow cast & crew members.

Zara’s house and Turtle Beach scene was filmed in Maafushi Island, the resort dock is located at Fulidoo, and Gulhi. All are located in the South Malé Atoll and are popular for their clear waters and local culture.
Vaavu Shipwreck was used to film the shipreck scene. It is a popular diving and snorkeling spot known for its stunning coral reefs and diverse marine life.

In the hope of finding an adventure and a new experience to share, she packs her bagpack and takes off to Maldives. However, she hates open water and her place is full of it so she consults a guest experience expert, Jared Joseph.
As the two explore the stunning beauty of the Maldives together, they begin to develop feelings for each other that quickly turns into a sweet romance. They also face some personal challenges and insecurities that can threaten their relationship but will they able to make love in the end?
