Dragon Ball Super Season 2 is likely to release sometime in 2023 but the original animation studios hasn’t confirmed anything officially yet. However, a movie titled Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero is under production and is set to release in April 2022 inside Japan. DBS is an adventure martial-arts anime series produced under Toei Animation based on the manga written by Akira Toriyama and illustrated by Toyotarou that began airing on July 2015 on Fuji TV inside Japan.
The story of this anime follows the events taking place after Battle of Gods and Resurrection ‘F’ films of DBZ, the DBS series ran for a total of 131 episodes from 2015 to 2018 covering lots of saga. Has Dragon Ball Super Season 2 confirmed or cancelled?
Dragon Ball Super Season 2 hasn’t yet confirmed or cancelled by the original creators yet in 2022. No official announcement has been made regarding the renewal of the action series. Only, a DBS movie is announced to release on 22 April 2022 inside Japan. The release date is yet to be updated for the viewers outside Japan who are waiting for English version.
Don’t worry if you are waiting for another season of the anime as Toei animator Florence revealed a possible hint that might begin the new anime season of the series. The animators are hopeful and excited to create another part of DBS and the feeling is mutual for fans who just want to see new episodes featuring their favorite Goku, Gohan, Vegeta, and their family. Fans are waiting for Dragon Ball Super Season 2 just like Bunny Girl Senpai Season 2 which ended nearly 4 years ago but there is still a hope as the finale episode ended on a cliffhanger.

Hulu and Funimation are having English dubbed versions of the episodes along with subtitles while Crunchyroll is having only subbed episodes in original Japanese audio but the whole series is available for free on Crunchyroll.
What will happen in Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero movie?
Goku, Piccolo, Broly, along with Gamma 1 and Gamma 2 are seen making their appearances in the film along with Pan, the granddaughter of Goku who is going to play a decisive role in the whole plot of Super Hero film. Pan was born from Goku’s son Gohan with wife Videl and is now training under the guidance of Piccolo.
Iyoku is grown up a little bigger because of aging process with time. He is seen keeping an eye on Pan and her relationship with Piccolo as it seems that Piccolo is training her. Moreover, Pan also cares for Piccolo as her caring Grandpa left only with her. On the other hand, Bulma is seen in a yellow jumpsuit that arises our curiosity to see Vegeta too and the writer has confirmed that the saiyan prince will make his appearance in the film.
