Deadpool 3: Retcon was already confirmed by the Free Guy director Shawn Levy in March 2022 after signing a contract with Marvel Studios to direct the sequel of Deadpool 2. Now, Ryan Reynolds has teased another big detail about the upcoming Marvel film.
Ryan come to Twitter to announce that the development project is also having a beloved Marvel character in it. The person is none other than Emmy nominated actress Leslie Uggams who will be seen casting in the role of Blind Al.
In case, you are wondering who is Blind Alfred. She is a blind woman and supporting character of the antihero, Deadpool whose relationship looks premature at first but at the end of the day, she has proven herself as a great supporter to Wade Wilson. Even though, her origin is not known clearly, she is still involved with British Intelligence according to comics.
Leslie Uggams portrayed the role of Blind Al in the 2016 Deadpool and also cast in the 2018 sequel produced by 20th Century Fox. Now, she is confirmed to appear in the Marvel produced film. The third part of Deadpool is written by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick.
Deadpool 3 Release Date and Time
Deadpool 3 is under discussion in March 2022 but an official release date is not yet announced by Marvel Studios or any creators. Since, the movie hasn’t started filming yet, it will be hard to predict a possible release date. The matter has going on since November 2020 when Bob’s Burgers writers Wendy Molyneux and Lizzie Molyneux-Loeglin were hired to write the series.
Ryan Reynolds also hinted in August 2021 that the production will began soon and the filming is expected to begin in 2022. However, no signs of production can be seen right now and the Collider also suggested that the filming might not happen in 2022. If the filming wrapped up in 2023 then we can expect Deadpool 3 to be released around 2024.
