Hoboken, New Jersey
Most of the film was shot in Hoboken, Hudson County, a city directly across the Hudson River from Manhattan. The waterfront scenes, street-level sequences, and Daniel’s apartment exterior were all filmed here.
Specific locations the production used include the Mile Square area, 1st and River Street, and 10th and Washington Streets. The Cliffs Lofts building served as the exterior for Daniel’s apartment.
The waterfront is where Jackie and Daniel’s early date scenes play out. The burrito food truck scene, where Jackie takes a call while grabbing lunch, was also shot along the Hoboken waterfront.
Hoboken has hosted film productions before – The Age of Innocence, The Nanny Diaries, and The Kill Room all shot here. The city’s architecture reads as New York-adjacent without actually being Manhattan, which is exactly what the story calls for.

Kenilworth, New Jersey
The exterior of Air Cruz, the fictional airline Jackie runs as CEO, was filmed at the Northeast Science and Technology Center at 2000 Galloping Hill Road in Kenilworth, Union County. The campus covers over two million square feet of laboratory space in real life.
Can you visit? It is a private campus. The exterior is visible from the road, but access to the grounds is not open to the public.
Montclair, New Jersey
Jackie’s private home, a Tudor-style estate with a Manhattan skyline view, was filmed on Gates Avenue in Montclair, Essex County. The same property appears in the dinner scene and the scene where Daniel discovers Jackie’s private room.
Montclair is a township about 14 miles west of Manhattan. The Gates Avenue area is a residential street with large historic properties.
Can you visit? It is a private residence on a public street. You can drive or walk past it.
East Jersey State Prison, New Jersey
The prison where Daniel visits his sister Lizzy, played by Jodie Whittaker, was filmed at East Jersey State Prison in Rahway. The film presents it as a New York facility, but the exterior is in New Jersey. The same prison exterior appeared in Ocean’s Eleven.
One World Trade Center, New York City
The gala scene near the end of the film was shot at One Dine, the restaurant on the top floor of One World Trade Center. The Vessel at Hudson Yards and Bryant Park also appear in the film.
Can you visit? One Dine is open for dinner reservations. The One World Trade Center Observatory is separately ticketed and open to the public.
Cayo Levantado, Dominican Republic
The final act of the film moves to the Caribbean. The crew filmed at the Cayo Levantado Resort on Cayo Levantado island in the Samaná Province, northeastern Dominican Republic.
The resort has ten rooms total, five luxury villas and five luxury suites along with multiple restaurants, a spa, and a personal training studio. The production used it as both a filming location and a base of operations during the Caribbean leg of the shoot.
During filming, Brett Goldstein told Jennifer Lopez he wanted to move to the Dominican Republic permanently. Lopez has confirmed the conversation happened.
