The latest Hallmark Movies & Mysteries original, Mystery on Mistletoe Lane premieres on Nov 9 as part of the network’s annual Miracles for Christmas programming event for 2023.
Allan Harmon has directed, Mark Hefti has written, and John Prince has produced the christmas romance film under Timeless Pictures in association with Basset Hound Distribution.
Kevin Duda, Alexandre Coscas, Michael R Goldstein, Aidan Heatley, and Ben C Silverman are executive producers for the film.

According to ACTRA Productions, Mystery on Mistletoe Lane was filmed in the picturesque city of Burnaby, British Columbia in Canada over the course of three weeks from August 21, 2023 to September 11, 2023.
The cast and crew transformed the city into a winter wonderland in the middle of summer to bring the story to life.
Locations seen on screen range from residential streets decorated with wreaths and garlands to a quaint downtown area with festive storefronts and lampposts.
Burnaby, British Columbia
Burnaby provided the perfect backdrop for Mystery on Mistletoe Lane, with its charming neighborhoods decorated for the holidays.
The movie makes the most of the city’s wintry landscape, showcasing snow-covered streets lined with twinkling lights. Production team used the house located at 7436 Fraser Park Drive for shooting purposes.
This beautiful suburban home served as the primary residence of the film’s main family. Both the interior and exterior of this bright yellow house were featured prominently throughout the movie.
Burnaby Village Museum
The museum was used to film some interior scenes set in the mysterious past of the Wicks house, located on the mistletoe lane. Burnaby Village Museum is a living history museum, located in a beautiful park setting.
It features over 30 restored buildings and exhibits from the late 19th and 20th centuries. You can also visit the place, it’s open for everyone.
The Christmas market and the city hall scene were taken in Downtown Burnaby. Other scenes featuring cozy homes dusted with snow were shot in nearby areas of the quiet suburban neighborhood of Fraser Park Drive.
The New Hollow town of New England was prepared entirely on the set and the private property located on the Fraser Park Drive.
You will find lots of historic homes in the quiet tree-lined street in Burnaby and those families bundled up in scarves and mittens only added more authenticity to the film. They evoke the warmth and wonder of Christmas.
Vancouver’s spectacular natural scenery also contributed to the magical holiday vibe. Although not explicitly featured on camera, the nearby mountains and Pacific coastline lent an appealing natural backdrop.

Production team capitalized on Metro Vancouver’s diverse architecture, charming neighborhoods, and natural beauty to create a vivid Christmas setting.
The region’s mild winter climate meant the crew didn’t have to manufacture snow or work around inclement weather. The efficient shooting schedule was achieved, thanks to sunny weather, the stellar cast and crew.
Burnaby’s proximity to Vancouver also made it convenient for accessing shooting resources and talent. Viewers will surely be charmed by this holiday tale filmed in Canada’s Pacific jewel.

What is the movie about?
