The Chosen season 2 episode 7 is set to release this Wednesday on 30 June 2021 at 9 PM EDT on the Angel Studios website. The episode will be full of surprises and tragic moments as we are slowly heading towards the finale of this season. In the last episode, we saw Jesus talking about love over law and mercy over sacrifice of the sabbath for man. Ep 7 will open up the story after those final moments.

There is no fixed date for new episodes release because of some production issues and crowdfunding. There will be a total of 8 episodes in this season that will be based on the true stories of Jesus Christ.

Episode 6 Recap

Episode 6 titled Unlawful starts with Mary Magdalene falling deeper into her old habits while Jesus sends Simon and Matthew to accompany her and listen about her problems. The episode title signifies Love over law and about the issues that arise when our meticulous rules start to dominate our mind and we forget the most basic reason of our existence.

Moreover, as we talked about earlier in the predictions of this episode, John the Baptist got arrested for protecting the religious laws without any mercy and this act is purely unlawful. Some disciples were compelled to use some illegal means out of love to save the life of John whereas some were travelling along with Jesus. We also found Pharisees Shmuel and Yanni talking about their evil plans to bring Jesus in justice and convict him under their law. They want to gave Jesus punishment for breaking the rules of sabbath and committing blasphemy which is very heinous religious crime.

What will happen in The Chosen Season 2 episode 7?

Episode 7 will probably about the ways that disciples attempt to prevent the execution of John The Baptist. Also, the miracles done by Jesus are spreading through words of mouth between all types of people including haters of Jesus. His disciples are trying to protect him by advising the residents to not talk about any miracles.

On the other hand, Yanni and Shmuel will continue their quest to bring Jesus to justice to give him a huge punishment for breaking the rules of sabbath and committing blasphemy. However, there is no weight in their evidences, the man hasn’t committed a sin and what he does is for humanity only. They are falsely propagating that Jesus has committed blasphemy only to succeed in their plans and satisfy their ego.

God works in pain, Jesus will give his disciples some very important learnings so that they can continue to spread the light of positivity even after his departure. Moreover, Jesus might demand some food from God for his disciples as there is a food crisis between their way.
