Lifetime Channel’s 2024 film Hunting Housewives transports viewers to the capital city of Canada as the four housewives, Joli (Kym), Karla Dodds (Denise), Rebel Carron-Whitman (NeNe), and Sharell Bouvier (Melyssa) crash into a forest.
With no basic knowlege of survival, the four women end up stranded in the wilderness of the woods. Their journey plays out against the charming streets, landmarks, and establishments in the Greater Toronto Area.
The movie is directed by Marco Deufemia from a script of Paula Tiberius, with Jessica Reis as producer, and Nancy Yeaman, Vanessa Shapiro, Beth Stevenson, and Stan Hum as executive producers under Brain Power Studio, and Nicely Entertainment.
Hunting Housewives Filming Locations
The Lifetime thriller movie Hunting Housewives was filmed on location in Greater Toronto Area, near the Canadian home of Kym Johnson-Herjavec.
Kym said:
“We were actually in the woods and outside with the bugs, which I loved,” “Because it felt very real. You weren’t just in the studio, so I loved being actually in it with all of the props around us.”
Some popular landmarks that were used in the filming includes Lake Simcoe Regional Airport (YLS), western waterfront, lower portions of Etobicoke Creek, Mimico Creek, and Humber River.
Filming for the movie began in July 2023 and wrapped in early August 2023, as per Morton’s Instagram post.
The actor shared a photo of him wearing a pilot uniform at Lake Simcoe Regional Airport (YLS). In the caption, he wrote:
Fly with me. I feel very fortunate that @brainpowerstudio & @marco_movie have such faith in me that I get to work with them again every year. Sky’s the limit!
Moreover, he shared the official poster of Hunting Housewives movie in February while talking about his wonderful experience with other cast members, especially those three ladies. He captioned the post:
Had so much fun shooting this back in July with an extraordinary bunch of ladies, playing a very untrustworthy pilot! So look out for this on Lifetime in March.
