Black Adam is an American superhero action film directed by Jaume Collet-Sierra from the screenplay written by Adam Sztykiel, Sohrab Noshirvani, and Rory Haines.
It stars Dwayne Johnson in the lead role of Teth Adam, the antihero of the movie who was imprisoned 5,000 years ago by the leader of JSA, and is now searching for his archenemy Shazam.

Black Adam Filming Locations
Black Adam (2022 film) was filmed in Atlanta and Fayetteville inside the US state of Georgia during mid 2021. Some of the scenes were also shot in Los Angeles during Aug 2021.
Dwayne shared the picture of clapperboard on the first day of official filming with Lawrence Sher as the cinematographer and Jaume Collet-Sierra as the director. The movie star and co-producer posted the photo on his Instgram straight from the filming set.
Most of the filming took place at the Trilith Studios(formerly Pinewood Atlanta Studios) of Atlanta where numerous Marvel shows have been filmed including LOKI, Hawkeye, Ms Marvel, She-hulk, and movies like The Lost City, Avengers Endgame, Spider Man No Way Home, etc.
Principal photography was planned to began in July 2020 when the Covid-19 pandemic was on the rise but filmmakers have to drop the filming idea because of coronavirus lockdowns.
Then, the filming resumed on 10 April 2021 and lasted till July 15 inside Atlanta. The Rock also revealed in 20 June 2021 that the filming was almost completed.
After that, production team moved to Los Angeles to film some scenes without Dwayne Johnson and the official filming wrapped up on 15 Aug 2021.
The movie had its world premiere on 3 Oct inside Mexico City and is scheduled to release on 21 Oct 2022 inside the United States.

Synopsis
After five thousand years of imprisonment, the supervillain Black Adam has awaken to become the next hero of humanity. Teth Adam was exiled by Shazam because of his corrupted desires and ideals but he has returned in the modern day to take his revenge.
