A World Record Christmas is the latest Hallmark Movies and Mysteries film that takes us through two beautiful cities in the Metro Vancouver region of British Columbia through its shooting locations.
Directed by Jason Bourque from the scripts of Mark Hefti, the inspiring Hallmark movie is based on the true story of a Salmon Arm resident, who made a Guinness World Record of stacking most Jenga blocks at the age of 12.
The movie is from WRC Productions with Stephen Harmaty as producer and Antonio Cupo as the executive producer.
A World Record Christmas Filming Locations
A World Record Christmas was filmed in the Metro Vancouver communities of Langley and Vancouver inside the Canadian province of British Columbia.
Filming of the movie began on March 17 and wrapped on April 6, 2023 as per exclusive reports. Director Jason also posted an on-set photo with Alison Wandzura and April Amber Telek on April 19 where he wrote,
“On set with dynamic duo @aprilambertelek @alisonwandzura from our recently wrapped epic #worldrecordchristmas it’s gonna be sooooooo good!!! @dgctalent @dgcbctalent”
Although, IMDb has mentioned only Langley as the filming location.
Some local sources like Vancouver sun have reported that some filming was done in Vancouver too.
We have also learned that a small production camp was setup in Vancouver to film some scenes including, the scene where Maxwell makes his cameo and give some motivation to young Charlie by talking about his previous records.
Nikki Deloach shared another clip on her instagram sharing her excitement over her upcoming Miracles of Christmas movie and thanking all her fans for supporting. She literally gave shoutout to everyone, from cast to writers.
Both the cities, Vancouver and Langley offered the perfect backdrop to capture the Christmas spirit and small town charm essential to a Hallmark holiday film while most of the filming was done in Langley.
Langley provided a quintessential snow-covered Main Street and classic downtown for many memorable scenes in the movie while Vancouver’s film-friendly infrastructure and proximity to Langley made it an ideal secondary filming location for A World Record Christmas.
Alison Wandzura shared an amazing reel on her instagram. She wrote in the caption “Christmas, too soon.”
Some of the recent Hallmark productions took place in Canada are Navigating Christmas, Everything Christmas, and Christmas Island.

What is the movie about?
A World Record Christmas is about the story of Charlie, a young boy with autism, who dreams of setting a Guinness World Record by stacking 1,400 Jenga blocks. Charlie’s mother, Marissa, is supportive of his dream, but his stepfather, Eric, is more skeptical.
As Charlie prepares for the record attempt, he faces setbacks and challenges. He also struggles to connect with his absent father. But with the help of his family, friends, and community, Charlie is determined to achieve his goal.
On Christmas Eve, Charlie makes his record attempt. The entire town comes together to support him, and the tension is palpable as Charlie carefully stacks the blocks. Will he be able to reach his goal?
