The two shows are related but feel quite different once you watch both. UK tends to be messier and more chaotic. USA leans a bit more produced. Both are worth watching, honestly.
Where to watch Love Island UK Season 13?
Maya Jama is back as host, Iain Stirling is back doing the voiceover work he was born for, and the villa is once again in Mallorca. Season 13 kicked off on June 1, 2026, and airs six nights a week at 9 PM BST. Saturdays are Unseen Bits, which is basically a highlights reel of moments that did not make the main episodes.

Where to watch Love Island USA Season 8?
Ariana Madix is hosting again, the villa is back in Fiji, and Iain Stirling is somehow narrating this one too. Peacock in the US is the only place to watch Season 8 as it airs. New episodes go live at 9 PM ET, and the schedule runs Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. Wednesday nights are exclusive bonus footage. Saturdays are Aftersun with Ciara Miller and Tefi Pessoa, which is worth watching even if you have already seen the week’s episodes.

Peacock stopped offering a free trial through its main site, but there are a couple of ways around that. Walmart+ members get Peacock Premium bundled in at no extra cost. DirecTV runs a five-day free trial on new sign-ups, and you can add Peacock during that window and pay nothing.
Can you watch Love Island for free?
Depends on where you live.
In the UK, ITVX is completely free. You need an account and a TV License, but there is no paywall. Australia gets Love Island UK free on 9Now with a registered account, just a few days delayed. New Zealand gets both UK and USA versions on TVNZ+ for free, though the USA delay is much longer, sometimes by weeks.
For Love Island USA, the free options are slim if you want to watch episodes while they are still current. TVNZ+ will eventually carry it in New Zealand. 9Now in Australia is supposed to get it later too, but that probably will not happen while the season is still running. Stan is your best real-time option in Australia, and it does cost money.

The Iain Stirling thing is worth mentioning because a lot of people do not realize he narrates both. He is a Scottish comedian and his voiceover on UK has always been one of the best parts of the show. Having him on the US version too is a nice bit of continuity.
