What is the plot?
In a remote Canadian wilderness, a group of teenagers unwittingly disturb the resting place of a vengeful, undead entity. The film then becomes a chilling hunt as the creature stalks and eliminates them one by one, all from the terrifying perspective of the killer itself.
Review
In a Violent Nature is not a typical slasher film that just focuses on the story of victims. Instead, it follows the story of the killer to create a voyeuristic and suspenseful atmosphere. Some critics even call it a “fascinating arthouse horror experiment.”
While the concept is incredible, a good execution is key. Critics on Metacritic have commended the film’s ability to create a distinct and thrilling atmosphere that every slasher filmmaker wants to achieve in his/her film.
Overall, it was a unique experience and I will recommend to stream this film if you’re tired of formulaic slashers and planning to watch something interesting with a more artistic approach.
Though, the trailer was not that great, the actual film is way better.
