The White Lotus is an American satire comedy series written and directed by Mike White whose story moves around the staff and guests at a tropical resort over the course of a week. They relax and rejuvenate in the paradise. But with each passing day, the complexity of the task will increase for the casting members, cheerful employees, and the filming location itself. Among the employees, resort manager Armond is suffering from a sudden trauma and the spa manager, Belinda is very down-to-earth person whose life in on a roller coaster.
The White Lotus Filming Locations
The White Lotus was filmed in Maui, Hawaii, inside a real hotel named Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea, according to IMDb and other sources. The filming for the HBO series began on October 2020 and concluded in December 2020 at a single shooting location following all Covid-19 guidelines. The 5-star resort is expanded till the Wailea Beach and has 3 golf courses, retail boutiques, ocean views, and a relaxing in-house spa.

Plot
The story is about staff members of a tropical resort and some guests who came to spend their vacations but their relaxing journey doesn’t seem to be easy as the group is encountering new problems everyday.
The White Lotus guest members include Nicole, a successful type-A executive who can’t help but treat her family poorly and her husband Mark is facing health issues and terminal inferiority. Their teenage son Quinn is a gamer but socially he is socially awkward who is watching the nature for the first time in his lifetime. Nicole and Mark are also having a daughter named Olivia and her college sophomore friend Paula is also with her.
There is also a wealthy unstable woman named Tanya McQuoid who is traveling to recover from the immense pain of her mother’s death. She is traveling alone to the hotel and looking for the love of her life and in desperate need of a massage.
