The filming has been ongoing since March 2023 and the Chosen insiders posted a video in April 2023 highlighting the set that they have designed for the shooting of fourth season.

When will the Chosen season 4 filming began?
Season 3 finished airing in February 2023 and creator Dallas and team began shooting for the fourth season in March 2023. The filming is taking place in a small set of Goshen, Utah.
Those who don’t know, Goshen is a small town located in the desert of Southern Utah with less than 1,000 population. The best part is that, no outsiders are allowed to enter into the area for filming purposes but “The Chosen” is special.
They got the approval from Church leaders and become the only production to done in Goshen.

Filming of this season is not going to be as complicated as feeding of the 5,000 or walking on water but it has to be emotional because this will show the fate of John The Baptist, Dallas said while thanking all the viewers on the first day of The Chosen season 4 filming.
The creators posted another video on 28 May 2023 where cast and crew members can be seen washing their clothes. Luke Dimyan, who is playing the role of Judas said that his life has been transformed working with Dallas.
Dimyan also said that Judas forgets the spiritual side and only focus on the physical and materialistic kingdom. Just like we were seeing special shots during the filming of season 3, we are shown the first scene that took place at night.
The cast members can be seen arguing with each other on the fire while some creatures stay awake at night, only to increase their heartbeats and our suspense to what’s gonna happen in The Chosen Season 4.

According to VidAngel Studios website, the fourth season has been funded more than 54%. While first four episodes have been 100% funded, the remaining four are still awaiting to recieve more funds by Sep 2023.
If the show is fully funded in June 2023 then we can expect The Chosen Season 4 to be released around Feb 2024 because filming has been ongoing already. It will have a total of eight holy episodes with hour long duration.
It can come even sooner because Dallas and his team are full of energy, they can start working even today, if get enough funds to proceed.
