Overlord Season 4 is making DMMORPG anime fans impatient as the official announcements has been made regarding the future of Overlord anime. The famous Japanese isekai anime series is actually based on a novel of the same name written by Kugane Maruyama. The story moves around a gamer who gets a chance to play a role in his favorite online game and after entering into the multiplayer battle, he learns many new things and has an experience that he never imagined before.

Is Overlord going to have a Season 4?

Yes, a fourth season of Overlord was announced on 8 May 2021 along with a movie covering the Holy Kingdom Arc of the series. The official announcement was made with a visual poster depicting the main protagonist of the series, AINZ.

When does Overlord season 4 release?

Overlord Season 4 is confirmed to start airing in 2022 but no exact release date has been announced yet. The latest season will be also having 13 episodes like the previous 3 seasons with an average running time of 23 minutes.
