The Japanese anime TV series is based on the light novel series Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation, written by Rifujin Na Magonote and illustrated by Shirotaka. It follows a jobless and hopeless man who gets reincarnated as a mage in a fantasy world while keeping his past memories. He is living his new life in the name of Rudeus Greyrat.
The Light novel series was originally published on the self-publishing novel website Shosetsuka Ni Naro in November 2012 and later, it began serialization as a manga in June 2014 in Monthly Comic Flapper, Seven Seas Entertainment licensed the 26 light novel volumes in USA and Canada.

Mushoku Tensei Episode 28 opens as Rudeus adventuring with Soldat’s party without becoming an official member of it. He even slays a red dragon singlehandedly that spreads his name all over the town.
After sometime, Elinalise catches Rudeus and informed him about the whereabouts of Roxy while revealing that he is a former member of Paul’s party. She reveals that Paul and Roxy are actively looking for other members in Rapa.
Rudeus also learns about the promiscus nature of Elinalise that cause her to have sexual intercourse with every member of Paul’s party including Paul himself. Then, Rudy receives an invitation letter from the Ranoa Magic Academy to attend as a special grade student due to his extraordinary magic powers.
After hearing the advice of Demon God, Rudeus decides to leave the Northlands and is now heading towards the university with Elinalise where Sylphie, Zanoba, and Ariel are studying.
What to expect from Mushoku Tensei Season 3 Episode 5?
Mushoku Tensei Season 3 Episode 5 is titled ‘Ranoa University of Magic‘ so we can expect to see the entry of Rudeus for the first time at a university. Since Rudy has never attended school, going straight to an university will be an exotic experience.
It will be interesting to see how Rudeus will see other students and how others will see him. Sylphie is already there as Fitz to take care of Rudeus if something happens but the thing is, Will Rudeus been able to identify her?
Even though, the two have met earlier during a sword fight, it will be interesting to see how long will Sylphiette conceal her true identity.
