The Japanese anime TV series is based on the light novel series Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation, written by Rifujin Na Magonote and illustrated by Shirotaka. It follows a jobless and hopeless man who gets reincarnated as a mage in a fantasy world while keeping his past memories. He is living his new life in the name of Rudeus Greyrat.
The LN was originally published on the self-publishing novel website Shosetsuka Ni Naro in November 2012 and later, it began serialization as a manga in June 2014 in Monthly Comic Flapper, Seven Seas Entertainment licensed the 26 light novel volumes in USA and Canada.

Mushoku Tensei Season 3 Episode 4 will be released on 30 July 2023 at 24:00 AM JST on Tokyo MX inside Japan. This will be the fourth episode out of 12 episodes that are scheduled to premiere till Sep 2023, the reamaining 12 episodes of this season are scheduled to premiere in April 2024.

Suzanne and other Counter arrow party members were celebrating after saving Sara from episode 2, thanks to Rudeus. Sara took Quagmire on a date and drunk too much that she even ask him to make love with her. However, Rudeus lost his manhood and made Sara miserable.
On feeling rejected once again, Rudeus starts drinking again and Stepped Leader Sol come to tease him once again for not saying his true feelings. A furious Rudeus started punching Sol in desperation and after 6-7 punches, Rudeus regains his consciousness and ask the leader to do the same with him.
Sol understands his problem and takes Rudeus to a brothel in an attempt to restore his manhood but that doesn’t happen. Then, Sol gives him some manly advice to motivate him and Rudeus after drinking too much starts making fun of Sara without realizing that she’s standing just behind her.
That leads to a breakup and the episode ends with Sol inviting Rudues to join his party, which Rudeus accepts. Then, we see a Mushoku Tensei Season 3 Episode 4 preview that shows Elinalise learning that Rudeus is in the Basherant’s third largest city, Pipin.

Mushoku Tensei Season 3 Episode 4 is titled “Letter of Invitation“. Since Rudeus has just joined the Sol’s party Stepped Leader, it will be interesting to see how other party members will see Rudeus. Will they accept him on seeing that the man has insulted their leader?
Whatever happens, Sol believes in Rudeus and is determined to send him back home, no matter how far they have to go. Suzanne and other party members will try to console Rudeus but most likely, Rudeus will not return as he has already chosen a path.
We also see a glimpse of Elinalise Dragonroad, a former member of Paul’s Party who is searching for Rudeus. So, she will also be seen in the upcoming episodes.
