Mushoku Tensei Jobless Reincarnation season 2 is officially in the works as reported by the official anime website and Egg Firm. The renewal news was announced along with an information poster.

This isekai anime series has gained a huge popularity after the season 2 premiere while some people criticize the show for featuring misogynistic elements, others are loving the show for its compelling and fantastic storyline.

Jobless Reincarnation is fantasy harem television anime series based on Rifujin na Magonote‘s light novel series that follows the life of a NEET who gets reincarnated into the world of swords and magic as a wizard namely Rudeus Greyrat.

Will Mushoku Tensei have season 2?

Anime news leakers Sugoi LITE revealed through a tweet that a second season of ‘Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation’ was already in production in 5 May 2021 along with the third season. On 7 March 2022, an official announcement has been made by Egg Firm confirming that a season 2 is in production.

How many season of Mushoku Tensei are there?

Currently, there is only a single season of Mushoku Tensei anime series with a total of 23 episodes along with a second and third season in progress. Season 1 first half premiered from 11 January 2021 to 22 March 2021 while the second part started premiering from 4 October and ran till 20 December 2021.

When is Mushoku Tensei Jobless Reincarnation Season 2 coming out?

Mushoku Tensei Jobless Reincarnation Season 2 is officially in production but a release date is not yet announced by the original animation studio. Even SUGOI LITE noted that season 2 and season 3 were already in the works in May 2021 and now the official announcement by Studio Bind has opened the gates for the arrival of Mushoku Tensei new season.

Mushoku Tensei Jobless Reincarnation Season 2 is expected to be release around October 2022 since it is already in production since May 2021. It will be having a total of 23 episodes with an average runtime of 23 minutes like the first season.

The first season was split into two halves because of the Covid-19 situation but now everything is back on the track. So, there will be no delay in the release of another season. 23 or 24 episodes will be premiered on a weekly basis on Crunchyroll and other streaming networks.

The official staff has chosen to adapt the volume 7 in the latest season which mainly focuses on Rudeus trip to Rosenberg. Mushoku Tensei Season 2 finale ended with Rudeus moping with his past memories and was desperate on waking up alone in the bed. He thinks that he wasn’t able to satisfy Eris and that’s why she left him. Even though, she left him to complete an important purpose. Roxy found that the mother of Rudeus is inside Begaritt continent so she is heading towards the same place to repay her debt to Greyrat family.

What will happen in Mushoku Tensei season 3

Rudy will search for her mother, Zenith in the new city while thinking about Eris and Ghislaine. The Brokenhearted magician will keep himself distracted in other tasks like gambling and other addiction. He will also try to get a job to continue his journey while meeting his ongoing expenses as an adventurer. Moreover, Sylphiette is on her way to find Rudeus and she will probably meet him soon.
