The story is based on the Japanese manga titled Life with an Ordinary Guy who Reincarnated into a Total Fantasy Knockout.
It follows the story of a dull old man and his handsome best friend who are summoned to another world by a beautiful naked goddess. The original manga volumes are written by Yu Tsurusaki and illustrated by Shin Ikezawa while the music for the anime is given by Takeshi Watanabe.

Episode 7 Recap
Episode 7 of Life With an Ordinary guy begins with elf chieftess challenging Tachibana to prove who’s is more beautiful. On the other side, Jinguuji is seen interrogating with the carriage driver who revealed that a giant talking squid is their village god who offer them food in exchange of human sacrifices.
The driver decides to help Jinguuji and together, they reached at the place where Hinata was chosen as the most beautiful and captors were making her ready for sacrifice.
The elf chieftess offers to help in order to take revenge and Jinguji tied her as a bait for giant squid. At the night time, when the squid arrived to engulf her, Jinguuji tried to save her but he realized that he is losing strength.
Hinata is seen coming from another side in an attempt to escape from the captors knocking off her hair decorations. This caused every men standing fall in love with him and proposing her.
Again, the elf chieftess become angry and form an angry mob against her. On seeing Hinata in danger, Jinguji regained his full power to save her and throw the giant squid on a statue. The chieftess released herself from the stomach of squid and knock it away convincing villagers that squid was not a god.
Vizzd and Kalm observed that the power of Jinguji was decreased when Tachibana was not around him and the man regained his strength on spotting his childhood friend on the impaling statue wall.
Life with an Ordinary Guy Episode 8 Spoilers
Episode 8 will show the reality of driver since Jinguuji has demolished his carriage, he will settle it by continuing his journey with Hinata and him. Also, the man doesn’t seem to be affected by the charm of Tachibana and looks attracted towards Jinguji.
He’s probably a gay anime character who is interested in men and that’s why he showed interest in helping him even after he destroyed his cart.
Moreover, the small preview shows that Tachibana is stripping herself to look cute in front of the slave trader. Jinguuji will also be seen shirtless in Life with an Ordinary Guy Ep 8 but why are the all people going topless? What they are trying to do?
