Episode 9 Recap
The episode begins with the upper-moon demon Gyokko showing off his Blood Demon Art and Muichiro insluting him for being too ugly. A furious Gyokko fires his attack and reveal his true form of a merman that doesn’t bother Muichiro.
Instead, it takes us through some flashback scenes when Muichiro was a child. He and his brother were wounded by a demon, and biten by the deadly insects, he would have died if Amane didn’t save him.
From that terrible day of his brother’s death, he started his harsh training to defeat all the demons. Fast forward to today, Muichiro shows the true power of Mist Hashira and send Gyokko straight to hell by cutting off his head.
In the ending scene, Mitsuri saved Tanjiro from getting in the mouth of Zohakuten’s wood dragon and moved towards the wooden dragon operator to slay him.

Demon Slayer Season 3 Episode 10 has been titled Love Hashira Mitsuri Kanroji. The episode will focus on Love Hashira like the ninth episode was about Mist Hashira and his past memories.
We will see the story of Mitsuri and why did she chose to embrace the power of love. Moreover, we have just witnessed the mist breathing of Muichiro so, this is the perfect time to present love breathing techinique of Kanroji.
Since Zohakuten holds the position of Upper Rank Four, it will be hard to defeat him but Tanjiro and his team will surely finish him with the help of Love Hashira in the upcoming episode.
Moreover, we will see an emotional connecting of Mitsuri Kanroji like we saw in the recent episode where Muichiro remebers his past with Flame Hashira family.
