Bungou Stray Dogs Season 4 is one of the most anticipated supernatural action anime series among seinen viewers and is a must watch for anyone who love Bleach. Based on the 2015 Manga Taishō winner Bungō Sutorei Doggusu, written by Kafka Asagiri and illustrated by Sango Harukawa, the story follows the members of the “Armed Detective Agency”, a group of people with supernatural abilities who solve cases involving supernatural forces.

The manga has been licensed in English by Yen Press. An anime television series adaptation by Bones aired in Japan between April and June 2016. A second season aired between October and December 2016. An anime film, Bungou Stray Dogs: Dead Apple, was released on March 3, 2018, and a third season was released in 2019.

Bungou Stray Dogs Season 4 Release Date and Time

An anime television series adaptation by Bones Studio started airing in 2016 with the release of two seasons within the same year. Then, a third season was released in 2019. A spinoff series was also released in 2021 and now a season 4 for Bungo Stray Dogs anime has been confirmed with a new poster.

The official announcement reads that it has been five years since the TV anime was broadcast and finally the anime is renewed for a new season. Season 4 is officially in production and a teaser visual drawn by character design and animation director Nobuhiro Arai has been released.

Even though, no release date is announced, we can expect Bungo Stray Dogs season 4 to be released around November 2022. It will be having a total of 12 episodes with an average runtime of 23 minutes. The series is directed by Takuya Igarashi, written by Yoji Enokido, music by Taku Iwasaki and produced by Junihiro Tamura & Chiaki Kurakane under Bones animation Studios.

All three seasons of the Bungo Stray Dogs anime are streaming on Funimation and HBO MAX inside the United States, United Kingdom, and Australia while first two seasons are also available on Crunchyroll and VRV. The English Network of South East Asia remains Aniplus Asia while original network remains Tokyo MX, Wowow, BS11, and MBS inside Japan. The spinoff series is exclusively streaming on Crunchyroll inside Western countries.

Decay of the Angel Saga will began with the rise of a new criminal organization named Rats in the House of the dead. A little is known about the organization but they come into limelight after attacking Yukichi with a deadly virus. This new season will be full of thrill and supernatural powers, more based on an virus outbreak that can cause serious illness.
