Barbershop 3 The Next Cut is an American comedy drama film directed by Malcolm D. Lee and written by Kenya Barris with Tracy Oliver. The 2016 film serves as the direct sequel to the Barbershop 2: Back in the Business movie that was released in 2004. It is based on the Characters written by author Mark Brown that follows Calvin(Ice Cube) and Angie(Regina Hall) who merged two businesses in order to survive in harsh times but the place is loaded with criminals and mafias. It was originally scheduled to release in 19 Feb 2016 but got released on April 15, 2016 inside the US cinemas.
About Barbershop 3
The story follows a barber named Calvin(Ice Cube) who lives in Chicago to support his family via barbershop business but the things begin to change as the time passes and the heaven gets transformed into the place of thugs and gangs. One day, a frightened stranger Eddie(Cedric The Entertainer) rushed into his barbershop as refugee after he made some silly comments at the criminal pants. Only, Calvin and Angie runs the shop but they are joined by other family members later.

Where was Barbershop 3 The Next Cut filmed?
The filming for Barbershop 3 took place in Atlanta, Georgia during May 2015. Crews and cast members including Nicki Minaj, Queen Latifah, and Ice Cube were spotted in Decatur on 11th May with a basecamp on Church Street. Most of the scenes were shot at Laurel Avenue and Inman Street like Joe Millionaire 2022. Then, the crew shifted to Ralph David Abernathy Boulevard between Laurel Avenue and Inman Street on 21 May till 26th of the same month.
