The Horror of Dolores Roach Filming Locations
The Horror of Dolores Roach was filmed in Ontario province of Canada, especially in Toronto and Hamilton. Principal photography began in June 2022 and wrapped after three months in August 2022.
Even though, the series sets in New York City, the entire filming was done within the Canadian province. You can recognize the Junction Neighborhood of Toronto which was transformed into New York City’s Washington Heights and various other landmarks that were utilized for filming purposes.

Todd Freeman posted some of his photos on Instagram while the shooting was ongoing. The posts also revealed that the the shooting was wrapped on 25 August 2022.
According to local media outlets, the production team setup camps at various places in Toronto to give the viewers a special vibe of the City of Lights. Numerous storefronts and shops were designed to brought up the New York look.

McMaster University located at 1280 Main Street West, Hamilton has been featured in the series. The university campus was used for the filming of scenes that involves students and their college life.
Other than that, director Aaron Mark has to say that they setup a camp on the Barton Street and Gage Avenue. Some of the famous places of Hamilton that were used during the shooting are Dundurn Castle, Hamilton City Hall, and Sam Lawrence Park.

What is the series about?

Her whole youth is wasted behind the bars and without any experience of work, she struggles to make her ends meet.
Hopefully, she reunites with an old stoner friend named Luis who not only gives her a shelter in his empanda shop but also a job to fulfil her expenses. Everything seems perfect until her newfound stability is threatened.
The two friends become dangerously symbiotic and they have to work together in order to survive. Luis has to unleast what he truly wants while Dolores has to memorize her past memories.
