No Vacancy is a 2022 American drama film directed by Kyle Saylors, written and co-produced by Art Ayris, Dean Cain, and Kenny Saylors under Kingstone Studios and Saylors Brothers Entertainment.
Based on the true story, the movie follows the life of Brandi Michaels, a local Television reporter who is demoted to a rural news outlet in Central Florida after the 2007-2008 financial crisis but her cynicism is transformed when she discovers an addicted personality. No Vacancy movie is scheduled to premiere on 9 May 2022 inside the movie theatres or cinemas.
Where was No Vacancy filmed?
No Vacancy was filmed inside Leesburg, Florida at the original Samaritan Inn. Principal filming began on 3 Sep 2021 and wrapped up in November 2021, according to Daily Commercial. The producer, script writer and overall herder of cats, Ayris has to say that the shooting was challenging during the middle of Covid-19 outbreak in Florida.
The original director had back out two months prior to filming because of coronavirus and cinematographer Kevin Hooper’s team reached on the set in the midst of Covid-19. All the precautionary measures were adopted like face masks, social distancing, and timely tests. The production of No Vacancy was a big step for the film studios.
Ayris has brought the Hollywood to the Leesburg with new stars. The planning was already going in May 2021 with the cast announcement including Sean Young(Blade Runner), T.C. Stallings(War Room), and Dean Cain(Lois & Clark). Female lead was a difficult choice as 1400 actresses applied for the role.
Florida is a less popular shooting location as most of the movies and TV shows are filmed in Canadian province like Ontario, British Columbia, and in England, and even France.
